Individual players still must register but providing your team info directly to the commissioner will make the process easier.
Be sure to tell players on your roster to provide your name in the "Coach's name" field when they register.
Teams are not considered "full" until they have at least 12 players. You can have more than 12, but if you have less than 12, additional players will be assigned to your roster from the at-large player pool.
For 8U, 10U and 12U: Pre-arranged teams are expected to play in our more competitive ("Red") divisions.
To register a team:
Email (as a spreadsheet attachment) your roster, to the extent it is known, to the fall ball commissioner (
). Include division your team is registering for (8U, 10U, 12U, 14U) and the names (first and last) and birthdays of the players on your roster. We will then assign the players to your team after they complete their registration. Also, provide your name and contact info (email, phone). As you fill out your roster with additional players, email the updates to Mike O'Shea.
Team names & mascots:
The league will supply hats and jerseys for each team. Available team names will be based on the in-stock inventory of our uniform vendor. Fall ball teams are welcome to supply their own uniforms if the desired name is not available through the WPPA vendor. All names/mascots must be pre-approved by the Commissioner. You may request a name when registering your team, but availability is not guaranteed. When more than one team desires the same name within a single division, the name will be granted first to the returning coach that had the name last year (if applicable) and second on a first-requested basis.
